At Edenspiekermann Amsterdam, we are looking for an inspiring and inquisitive Lead Creative Strategist to join our team

As our Lead Creative Strategist, you analyse our client’s questions, and interpret our own research, to uncover opportunities and/or spot the problem behind the problem.

You know how to get to the essence of things, and you communicate ideas in a concise and impactful way. You are comfortable presenting your analysis and solutions in boardrooms and have experience working in a dynamic creative environment.

You will work closely with our designers, researchers and directors to design innovative digital products and services that reignite industries and reshape businesses. You understand that this requires advising our clients on a wide range of disciplines; from product propositions to paradigm shifts.

What you will do 

• Take the strategic lead in projects, by providing the analysis and insights that are necessary to set the direction for the creative team and overall vision for the client
• Contribute directly and indirectly to many types of projects; ranging from high-level strategic frameworks and concepts, to practical pointers to stay on strategy in design and content
• Pitch thought-provoking ideas and present radical solutions to C-level decision-makers
• Shape propositions for new digital products, human-centric services and future brands — hereby always seeing the bigger picture, and using narratives and frameworks to communicate your vision
• Write concept rationales, future visions, internal briefs, research reports, pitch decks, product propositions, positioning statements and much more
• Advise clients on how to stay on strategy or help them pivot where necessary
• Translate overarching strategies or holistic visions to strategic frameworks on lower levels, such as go-to-market-, brand-, communication- and UX strategy

What you will do

• 7+ years of experience in a creative agency or independent consulting
• A critical, radical, original thinker
• A sharp observer, and clear communicator
• A true generalist; operating at the intersection of brand, user experience, technology, communication and innovation
• Analytical mind, but a creative at heart
• Excellent at writing, but visually savvy
• You produce solutions, not just reports and insights
• Fluent in English

You are cherry on top

• Experience running workshops
• You speak Dutch
• You have some design skills
